Funeral services were held Sept. 10 for Richard W. Lawrence Sr. of North Bergen. He passed away Sept. 6. He was a retired transportation supervisor for the Hudson County Schools of Technology in North Bergen. He was the husband of Catherine Vivian (Ziegeler); the father of Kathleen Smith, Richard Lawrence Jr., Patricia Smith, and Francis X. Lawrence; the stepfather of Ronald Bolandi and William Buckman; the brother of Cyrus Lawrence and Margaret Chakonis; and the grandfather of Christine Smith, Amber, and Tara Chadwick.
