NORTH BERGEN – Police here say they apprehended five individuals for driving while intoxicated, among other charges, during their Labor Day weekend roving patrol.
According to Commander of the Detective Bureau Lt. Frank Cannella, the arrests ranged from between Sept. 3 to Sept. 5.
Robert Hudson, 18, of Rutland, Vt. was arrested for possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, DWI, and was issued a summons for leaving the scene of an accident on Sept. 5.
Police also apprehended Gulliermo Arana, 40, of Guttenberg for DWI, refusal of a breathalyzer, failure to exhibit paperwork, and leaving the scene of an accident on Sept. 4.
Arana had allegedly struck a Nissan on River Road, before continuing to the top of the road and hitting a Toyota wagon at the top of Bulls Ferry Road, said Cannella.
