A funeral mass was celebrated Nov. 4 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church for Tessie Brady (Donato), 93, a lifelong resident of Jersey City. She passed away Oct. 31. She was retired from Bell Atlantic, was a founding member of the Marion Block Association, belonged to the Mt. Carmel Rosary Society and the 50 Plus Club, and was also nominated “Woman of the Year” many years ago. She was the wife of the late Robert Brady; the mother of Vincent and wife Natividad Russo, Robert “Bob” and wife Remonita Brady, and the late Lucielle Perrete and Maria Stella Dallara; the grandmother of six; and the great-grandmother of nine.
