Funeral services were held Oct. 26 at Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd for Omar Gaitan, 57, of Jersey City. He died Oct. 21. He was a packer for Phillips Lightolier in Union for the last 39 years. He was the son of Rosa (Barralaga) and Roberto Gaitan; the husband of Sharon (Williams); the father of Jessica, Omar Jr., Jessica Marie, Christopher, Juan Jose, and the late Jennifer; the grandfather of Cory Dennis, Jordyn Alexis, John David, and Rafael; and the brother of Manuel. Services arranged by Greenville Memorial Home of Jersey City.
