The Arc of Hudson County’s 5th Annual Reception held on October 21th 2010 at Antonia’s by The Park was a great success raising awareness about children and adults with developmental disabilities in the Hudson County, and celebrating the many contributor of our mission that promotes and protects the human rights of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and actively supports their full inclusion and participation in the community throughout their lifetimes; and is committed to enhancing the quality of life of those individuals and their families through advocacy, empowerment, education and prevention. Daniel Altilio, President/CEO of The United Way of Hudson County, was honored for his valuable contributions to the Arc. With him Mayor Silverio Vega received a special Acknowledgement for the West New York Board of Education support to The Arc’s mission. We want to extend our gratitude to our supporters and sponsors who made this day possible, including: Amerigroup Community Care, The Arc of NJ, North Hudson Community Action Corporation, United Cerebral Palsy of Hudson County, West New York Women’s Club, Antonia’s by The Park Restaurant, The Arc of Hudson County Board of Trustees, Staff and volunteers.
