‘Jerseylicious’ star celebrates birthday at JC restaurant with concert by freestyle legend George LeMond

JERSEY CITY – Fans of reality TV and 1980s freestyle music got two for the price last weekend at Michael Anthony’s restaurant in Jersey City.
Tracy DeMarco, one of the stars of the Style Network TV show, “Jerseylicious” celebrated her 23rd birthday with family and friends, including Anthony Bellifemine, also known as “Cousin Anthony” from The Learning Channel’s show Cake Boss.
DeMarco said she “loved” the celebration, but said she was telling people she “turned 21.”
As a added bonus, the birthday also featured freestyle music, a popular genre for the 1980s and 1990s, with performances by freestyle legend George Lamond, who sang his classic “Bad of the Heart” and his remake of Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin'” along with singing “Happy Birthday” to DeMarco. Also performing was the Boricua Posse and Lime.
DeMarco was also greeted with a birthday cake made by the Cake Boss, Buddy Valastro, of Carlo’s Bakery of Hoboken.
The event was organized by Jersey City-based Big Daddy Entertainment, a collaboration of local residents Joe Napolitano and Richard Young, and Hoboken resident Greg Rivera. – Ricardo Kaulessar
