Chamber to hold toy drive; receives anonymous $5K donation

HOBOKEN – The Hoboken Chamber of Commerce will present a Toy Drive party on Thursday, Dec. 2 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Elysian Café, 1001 Washington St.
Guests are encouraged to bring a toy and will pay $15 at the door, which gets them a drink. Guests who do not bring a toy will be asked to pay another $15 so the Chamber of Commerce can purchase a toy on their behalf.
The toys donated should be for children in the 4-12 age range and unwrapped.
This year, the Chamber of Commerce was happy to report that an anonymous donor recently gave $5,000 for the Toy Drive.
The toys will go to the Boys and Girls Club, and possibly the Jubilee Center in Hoboken.
Those interested in attending can RSVP by e-mailing hobchamber@aol.com or calling Michael Novak at 201-245-6269.
