Funeral services were held Dec. 11 for Barbara Williams-Smith. She passed away Dec. 2 at home. She was a resident of Georgia since 2007, but was formerly from Jersey City. Barbara worked as a collection agent. She was the daughter to Leola Williams and the late Aubrey Williams; wife to the late Edward Smith; mother to Tasha N. Williams, Edward Smith Jr., Allen James and her honorary son Thomas Steed; sister to Gilbert Williams, Diana Mitchell, Linda Spann and Sharon Pickey; grandmother to Andre Williams and Edward Smith III; and also survived by nieces, nephews and a host of many other relatives and friends.
