All lanes to reopen Monday on North Marginal Highway

WEEHAWKEN AND BEYOND — North Marginal Highway construction between Boulevard East and Pleasant Avenue will be finished on Friday, Weehawken Public Safety Director Jeff Welz said this week, with all three lanes reopened Monday morning.
North Marginal Street in Weehawken is a one-way (westbound) connector roadway running parallel to the Route 495 westbound elevated highway leading from the Lincoln Tunnel.
Starting next week, there will be lane closures during off-peak hours only to complete touch-ups.
Traffic during the construction, ongoing for about four and a half months, had been shifted to one lane while the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) replaced the bridge deck over Park Avenue.
