Tuesday roundup: 911 out of service in Hoboken? And: Final snow totals

HUDSON COUNTY — Accuweather released snow accumulation totals Monday for towns in Hudson County. They were: Jersey City, 26 inches; Secaucus, 25 inches; aand Hoboken, 19.9 inches.
Meanwhile, CBS/880 reported early Tuesday morning that “Officials said early Tuesday morning that 911 services are temporarily down in Hoboken. All residents should call the police department at 201-420-2100 for all emergencies.Police said service will be restored as soon as possible. Hoboken officials told CBS 2 early Tuesday morning there are sporadic outages throughout Hudson County. However, local telephone carrier Verizon told WCBS 880 there is no malfunction on their side of delivering the service.”
There was nothing on the Hoboken city website about the problem early on Tuesday morning.
