Recovering Drug and alcohol addicts have been gathering for support meetings at the Hoboken Housing Authority for many years. At the groups Oct. 5 meeting, members officially named the organization the Henry Bentley Alcohol and Drug Awareness Program. Bentley was a recovering addict who turned his life around and served as a symbol of hope for others struggling with addiction. Lee Lyons, Anthony Mickle and Stuart Chirichella founded the group, which is currently comprised of 75 individuals and families, both residents and non-residents of the housing authority.
