91, transitioned from labor to reward on October 29, 2016. She was born on August 19, 1925 in Bayonne. She was a bookkeeper for Cuddleteen Frocks and Shutter Bug. Ethel married the love of her life, Norvel J. Wooten on July 19, 1942, and from this union, two daughters were born, Christina and Lisa. Mrs. Wooten was a senior mother of Monumental Baptist Church and enjoyed attending service weekly, until she wasn’t able to due to her health. She was preceded on her journey to glory by her husband, Norvel Wooten; parents, Este & Esther Jackson; sisters, Mabel Howard, Ruth Lofton, Thelma Stevens & Irene Ponder; brothers, James, Omar, Charles & Willard Jackson. Ethel leaves to cherish her legacy, her loving daughters: Christina Wooten, Lisa Parmalee, Monica Jackson, Che’ron Terry; son in-law, Louis Parmalee; 6 grandchildren: Damon Wooten, Ashley Jackson, Kenija Wheeler Sha’landa Terry, Kenice Wheeler, Jamia Parmalee and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
