61, passed away with her family by her side on October 30, 2016 at the Father Hudson House in Elizabeth after a long fight against cancer. She was born in Jersey City and lived in Bayonne for many years. Barbara worked for the Bayonne Board of Education as a teacher’s aide for special needs children; she spent many years at the Lincoln Community School. She was predeceased by her parents Frank W. Reischach and Doris F. (nee: Cooke) and her brother Frank J. Reischach. Mother of Thomas Sumowski and his wife Maribeth, James Sumowski, Christine Sumowski and Matthew Sumowski and his wife Ashley. Grandmother of Paige and Connor. Sister of Doris A. Reischach. Also survived by her sister-in-law Frances Reischach.
