To the Editor:
I met a Good Samaritan outside of Sleepys in Bayonne on October 16. She was an older Muslim woman who helped me as I was struggling to get out of my car. I have back problems. It was obvious that I was a Christian because I was wearing a cross. That did not stop her from helping me. She came over, unsolicited, and asked if she could help me. I accepted gratefully. This thoughtful woman also helped my 83-year-old mother. We should all be good Samaritans: religion, race, age, or nationality should not be a barrier between people. We are all God’s creatures.
