They often get caught in the VA’s Byzantine technology web, unable to access the plans and benefits to which vets are entitled. To help remedy the situation, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) hosted a Veterans Claims Clinic at the Catholic War Veterans Post 1612 on October 5. The anticipation of life after high school was palpable at the annual college and career fair at Bayonne High School on October 5. Students and parents crowded the gym to get a word in with college representatives, mostly from New Jersey and surrounding areas. Ready to make their cases, they stood behind tables decked out in their schools’ colors.
