Jersey City man dies from gunshot wound

JERSEY CITY — A 20-year-old Jersey City man was found in a driveway on Forrest Avenue with apparent gun shot wounds to his upper body.
According to a release issued by Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez, Jersey City police officers on Sept. 19 at about 10 a.m. were dispatched to the area of Forrest Avenue in Jersey City on a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers found one male victim in the driveway of 391 Forrest Ave. with an apparent gunshot wound(s) to his upper body. The victim has been identified as Ahmin Colclough, age 20, of Jersey City. Colclough was treated at the scene and then transported to Jersey City Medical Center where he continued to receive treatment. He was pronounced dead at approximately 10:45 a.m.
No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting. The Prosecutor’s Homicide Unit is actively investigating the case with assistance from the Jersey City Police Department.
