The Special Needs Soccer Academy, open to Bayonne residents, boys and girls, ages 3-21, is a program for mentally and physically challenged youth and will provide individualized attention to develop skills and fitness, and to emphasize the fun aspects of soccer and sports.
The program, which meets on Saturdays and/or Sundays, is designed to provide an enjoyable time of soccer for children with a range of skill levels.
A unique feature of the program is its use of athletes from the Bayonne High School Boys’ and Girls’ Varsity and JV Soccer teams. BHS players will be on hand to help assist the players in the academy.
The Special Needs Soccer Academy will begin Saturday, October 1st and will run for 5 weeks. The Academy will take place at Veteran’s Stadium.
