HUDSON COUNTY — Predicting the weather is an imperfect science, but Post-Tropical Storm Hermine seems to be keeping to herself these days. The National Hurricane Center predicts gusty winds Monday and some wind and clouds Tuesday, but little else.
Despite the fact that we’re still getting emails about a coming “tropical storm,” forecasters seem to believe Hermine is staying out to sea. See the various maps on that page. There will still be an effect on the surf, and lots of hot air.
No rain is expected this week, but it will get windy and the surf at the beach will be rough.
Of course, anything can happen, so stay tuned to your local forecast.
