PAPACCIO, PATRICK

93, passed away at his residence on August 26, 2016.He was born in Bayonne to Lucia and Biago Papaccio. Pat was a WWII Veteran, disabled Life Member of CWV Post 1612, Life Member of the American Legion Post 19, Captain P.J. Hogan Disabled War Veterans. Pat served for many years as Chairman of the Boy Scout Troop # 27, Assumption Church; he was the recipient of Catholic Scouting’s “Pelican Medal” from the Newark Archdiocese. He retired from the General Food Corp, Division of Maxwell as a Senior Research Tech after 33 years of service. He was married for 70 years to Teresa Iazzetta. Left to cherish his memory are three sons, Blaine (Lynne), James (Ann Marie) & Patrick (Kate). Pat had a special bond with his only granddaughter Jane Edwards. He is also survived by his two pals, grandson Joe Papaccio & great-grandson Tim Edwards, his sister Madeline De Nicola & brothers Vincent & Philip Papaccio, sister-in-law Maria De Vente, Madeline Iazzetta & Mrs. Carlo Iazzetta. Pre-deceased by his brothers Nicholas, Nunzio, Biagio & his sister Carmela Mastropietro. Funeral arrangements by MIGLIACCIO Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd.
