JERSEY CITY — The Lafayette Branch of the Jersey City Free Public Library was to be closed in the morning on Tuesday, Aug. 9 from 8 a.m. to 12 noon, due to the installation of an electric motor for the security roll-up door. The Lafayette Branch Library, 307 Pacific Ave., will open to the public on Tuesday afternoon.
