Guttenberg woman arrested in connection with Union City man’s death

UNION CITY — On Saturday evening, July 30, Kevin Argueta, 22, of Union City was found stabbed to death inside of his bedroom on Mountain Road, according to the press release from the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office.
According to the release, police responded to a call on 317 Mountain Road around 6:20 p.m. Police found Argueta on the floor with “multiple sharp force injuries to his body.” Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said in the release that Argueta was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the release, The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office and the Union City Police Department located 23-year-old Cateline Hichos, of Guttenberg, and arrested her in connection with Argueta’s death. She was charged with aggravated manslaughter, hindering apprehension, and several weapons offenses, according to the release. According to the release her bail was set at $500,000 cash or bond.
