Dear Editor:
On Tuesday May 3, 2016, my father Charles Puncerelli was brought to Jersey City Medical Center Emergency Room. From the moment he arrived he received exceptional care. The entire staff including doctors, nurses, aids, emergency room techs, admissions, and security were outstanding. All were so thoughtful, compassionate, and attentive. After treatment in the emergency room he was admitted to 7 west. During his 4 day stay, the care he received was superior. It would be hard to name everyone individually but his nurses, aids, therapists, housekeeping and most of all the residents assigned to his case, were so caring not only to my father but to our family. Most special of all was Doctor Kenneth Garay, his professionalism, compassion, kindness and support that he showed my entire family was incredible. Our family is extremely grateful to have had Dr. Garay care for my critically ill father.
The entire staff at Jersey City Medical Center should be commended for the excellent quality of care that it provides for it’s patients. On a sad note, my father Charles passed away on June 5th.
