Esquire recommends Jersey City bar

JERSEY CITY – Esquire Magazine’s new list of America’s best bars includes Dullboy, a cocktail bar that opened at 364 Grove St. in 2015, but not without a degree of surprise that such a bar could be found in Jersey City.
“Real cocktails, good food, regulars who know the art of conversation,” says writer David Wondrich. “Believe it or not, this is Jersey City, a short tunnel and a thousand miles away from Lower Manhattan. Extra points for the Dullboy’s literary theme and witty atmosphere—the back wall of loosely hung books is particularly amusing.”
No other New Jersey bar made the list. Wondrich recommends the bar’s Gibson for cocktail lovers.
