quietly entered into eternal peace at JFK Haven Hospice in Edison, NJ on May 8, 2016. She was born on March 24, 1959 in Jersey City, New Jersey to the late Earl, Sr. and Vivian (Smith) Spriggs. Doris resided and attended schools in Bayonne and continued her education at Jersey City State College. Those to cherish her memories are her sisters: Roberta (Earnest) Allen, Ellen (Stanley) Haygood, Wilma Campbell (John), Earlene Belle and Joy Spriggs-Weatherly (Robert, deceased); her brothers: Gregory (Kelly) Spriggs, Roland Spriggs and Earl (Sharon) Spriggs, Jr., brother- in- law, Donald Jacobs along with cousins, nieces, nephews, a cancer surviving supporter and friend Nancy. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Louis Bell, a brother Gary Gilbert and sister, Sandra Booker Jacobs.
