To The Editor:
We have said often that the best way to keep Bayonne moving in the right direction for the long term is through the education of our children. That’s why we all fight so hard to make sure all of Bayonne’s schools are the very best they can be.
However, nothing we do to improve our children’s education matters without the unyielding commitment of the heroes in the classrooms who report every day and dedicate themselves to opening and nurturing the minds of all those who sit at the desks before them.
I am proud to have been educated by Bayonne teachers and count visiting classrooms among the highlights of my job.
Simply put, if you teach in Bayonne, or are a teacher living in Bayonne, we say, and I say, thank you!
