Cohen, Divan put Knights on track

Winded by their hard fought tussle with the Dragons in the first half of their week 5 JCC of Bayonne Jr. Division Indoor Soccer double-header, the now (4-2) Wizards tried to get back on track versus the (1-5) Knights. Scoring first, the Knights’ Michael Cordero cashed in off an assist by Aaliyana Cifuentes. Struggling to reboot, the Wizards finally got going as Adonis White made it 2-1 Wizards with two net gems off assists by Toni Rivada and Gage Orlowski. Once again ruling the pace, the Knights built a 5-2 advantage as Chase Cohen (2 goals) and Ryan Divan (2 goals) racked up goals as Anthony Fraser (2 assists), Christian Benson (1 assist), and Cohen (1 assist), pitched in. trailing 5-2, the Wizards got a second wind as Dylan Subacz closed the gap to 5-4 with two quick scores as William Hulsman and Adonis White assisted. Pushing hard to the final whistle the Wizards could not overcome a mid-game scoring drought as the Knights prevailed for a 5-4 victory.
