Dear Editor:
As we all know many of us come from countries where cleanliness, good department of public works, cleaning after your pets, recycle (what is that?) are almost ignored.
In other words: In the back burner.
When we get here, USA, we of course cannot teach our sons and daughters what we never were taught. Did you read above?
The idea is simple: Set aside, like 15 minutes every day in each classroom and teach them what the little ones did not have the opportunity to learn: Good manners, cleanliness, and a few more things. (We leave the details to the Boards of Education).
Think about it. It will save some mayors a lot of fliers to which nobody pays attention most of the time. And the future will be better for everybody.
Sincerely,
Carlos M Aguiar
