87 of Manahawkin, passed away on March 20, 2016. Born in Bayonne, Ed lived in Bayonne and Long Beach Island prior to Manahawkin where he resided for 20 years. He was a buyer for the New York Stock Exchange before his retirement. He also proudly served his country during the Korean War in the U.S. Army. He was a recipient of the Bronze Star for his service. Ed is predeceased by his parents Patrick E. and Hannah McGinnis and his three sisters; Mary Davis, Charlotte Warner and Marguerite Long. He is survived by his wife, Lorraine McGinnis (nee: Murray), his two sons; Edward McGinnis and his wife Cheryl, and John McGinnis, his two daughters; Mary Beth McGill and her husband Dan, and Eileen Laracy-McGinnis and her husband Michael, and his six grandchildren; Dan, Molly, Brock, Connor, Sean and Charlotte.
