St. Dominic Academy 8th graders made history this winter as the first SDA grammar school girls to compete in Indoor Track & Field. SDA empowering women since 1878 added a 7th and 8th grade component three years ago. The girls who competed in AAU competitions this winter at a few meets are in center Bayonne resident Gianna Farulla and Amy Arce (white uniform) are joined by John E. Nagel and, from left to right, seniors and All Saint’s graduates Jianna Bustamante and Brenna Nadrowski. Bustamante and Nadrowski were key competitors as SDA won the State meet (high school) on 20 February.
