With one week under their belts, all three JCC of Bayonne Sr. Division Indoor Soccer squads eagerly entered week two in hopes of fine tuning their skill sets. Controlling the pace in the early going, the Sonics took a 3-1 lead over the Comets as Kasper Hooks, Jacob Kowal, and Harsh Easwar each notched goals for the Sonics while the Comets’ Dylan Subacz put his team on the board. With half the game in the books, the Comets’ offense caught fire as Subacz poured in four more goals while Alejandro Cifuentes added a scoring dart as the Comets built a 6-3 advantage. Stunned by the turn of events, the Sonics tried to rekindle their offensive attack but the Comets’ defense led by Aaliyana Cifuentes had other ideas as the 6-3 score held firm as the Comets evened out their record at (1-1).
