HUDSON COUNTY — Just before the coldest weekend of the year, two weeks ago, the Hudson Reporter decided to call the county’s emergency number for shelter. But the numbers listed on various websites didn’t work, and county offices bounced a reporter to various other numbers that also didn’t work.
After making calls for two hours, we finally got a number.
Last week, the county administrator said this was unacceptable and sent out a memo to county offices with the correct number.
