To the Editor:
There are a number of clauses in this new animal control contract that are unclear. I’ve been working with the law department to get answers to some basic questions about what services Bayonne residents can expect from animal control. I’ve also heard many complaints from residents over the last few weeks about services that are required per state law and which have not been happening.
The council stated that they would reconsider this deal if there were problems with the service. So if you have had a negative experience with this new animal control provider please speak up and contact the Mayor’s office so your issue is known. Mayors.office@baynj.org
