87, passed away on December 6, 2015, at Leisure Park in Lakewood. Born in Bayonne, he moved to Brick in 1968 then to Lakewood in 2010. Slagus was a toll collector for the NJ Turnpike for over 25 years. He was a member of the Ocean County Computer Club. Slagus was predeceased by his wife, Lorraine F. Slagus (nee: Herbert); and his parents, Stella (nee: Gesek) and Michael Slagus. He is survived by his siblings, Lawrence, Dolores and Lorraine Slagus; three nieces and one nephew; and several grandnieces and grandnephews.
