JERSEY CITY — Members of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) joined public officials and members of the Muslim and other religious groups to condemn statements made by GOP Presidential candidate Donald Trump.
Religious leaders from nearly every faith in Jersey City and Northern Jersey gathered at the Islamic Center of Jersey City to challenge Trump’s anti-Muslim rhetoric, especially his claims that Muslims in Jersey City and Paterson cheered the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.
