BAYONNE – The driver of the car that struck and killed two Bayonne men on Route 440 on Nov. 2 has been charged with two counts of vehicular homicide, a police spokeswoman said on Nov. 19.
The man, whose name police did not release, was arrested at the Bayonne Police Department on Nov. 18 at 9:30 p.m., according to Bayonne Police Lt. Janine Foy.
His bail was set at $150,000 cash and he was remanded to the Hudson County Jail, Foy said.
The BPD did not release any further information. The Hudson County Prosecutors Office will be handling the dissemination of additional information.
