The 2015 Elementary School Cross Country meet hosted by the Bayonne High School Cross Country team was held October 14 at Stephen Gregg Park. This year was the highest attended race and was more competitive than in years past. Over 60 boys and 40 girls competed for the team titles that were tightly contested. On the girls’ side, Nicholas Oresko won the team title after narrowly defeating Midtown and Henry Harris. Suhayla Johnson and Maggie Boyle led Midtown and Oresko to their one-two finish with strong times. The Boys team title was also won by Nicholas Oresko, who defeated Bailey and Robinson. The individual boys’ winner was Fedor Lidabo who faced strong challenges from Francois Rodas and Bryan Cotter.
