Funeral services were held Oct. 25 for Barbara Brown, 69, of Hoboken. She passed away at her home on Oct. 22 surrounded by her family. Born in New York City, Barbara was a long-time Hoboken resident. She worked as an office manager for various trucking companies.
Barbara was predeceased by her brother Michael Benetatos. She is survived by her two daughters, Barbara Brown and Stephanie Brown; her grandchildren, Faith Lauter, Sophia and Michael Traficante; her longtime companion Gerard Matthies; her siblings, Nicolette Aquino, Elizabeth Wyble, Geraldine Alvarez, Andrew Vinas and Thomas Harrigan and her dog, Buster. Services arranged by the McLaughlin Funeral Home, Jersey City.
