BAYONNE – The Bayonne Bridge will close two times this weekend to accommodate ongoing construction work on the “Raise the Roadway” bridge project, the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey announced.
The bridge will close at 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23 and reopen at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24. The bridge will close again at 9 p.m. on Saturday and reopen at 9 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 25.
The Bayonne Bridge shuttle service, which provides alternate transportation for pedestrians and cyclists, will operate from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 23; from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24, and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 25.
