A mass of resurrection was offered Sept. 23 at St. Anthony RC Church, Union City, for John DiGiulio, 84 of Union City. He passed away Sept. 19. He was born in Hoboken and was a life resident of Union City. John worked for 30 years as an assembly worker for Western Electric Company and then for 10 years for the Union City Post Office before retiring. He was a veteran of the United States Army during the Korean War years. John was the husband of the late Laura (nee Nolan). He was the father of Linda Egbert and the late John. He is also survived by his friend, Jeanne Garabedian, his “adopted” son, Nelson Mejia, and his dear brother, Anthony DiGiulio. John was also an avid fan of the New York Yankees and New York Football Giants. Services arranged by the Leber Funeral Home, Union City.
