Private funeral services were planned for Christopher John Crawford, 64, writer, scholar, scientist, composer, philosopher, father and friend. He passed away on Sept. 1 from natural causes at his home in Jersey City. Christopher was the father of Benjamin Hunter Crawford, USN and his wife, Rosie Crawford, and the son of the late Betta and John Crawford of Toronto. He moved to NYC and was a writer for Pediatric Endocrinology at Cornell University Medical College. Christopher was an avid reader, an eloquent linguist, and a lifelong scholar who was excited by the richness and complexities of life. He was deeply loved by friends, and he lived every day in the moment. Services arranged by the Watson Mortuary Service, Jersey City.
