UNION CITY – The City of Union City will hold a flag-raising ceremony commemorating Chile’s Independence Day on Friday, Sept. 18 at noon in International Park located on Palisade Avenue and 38th Street.
The ceremony will include several invited guest speakers and the raising of the Chilean flag. Being honored this year is Chilean music sensation Felipe Orlando Conejeros Cid a.k.a. Kreone “Mr. International.” Members of several local organizations are expected to attend the ceremony.
Everyone in the community is invited to attend.
