NORTH BERGEN – Mayor Nicholas Sacco and the Board of Commissioners will welcome an expected crowd of over 1,000 North Bergen seniors to the township’s annual Senior Citizen Picnic on Wednesday, Sept. 16. The event begins at 11:30 a.m. and will be held at Schuetzen Park Banquet Hall, 3167 Kennedy Boulevard in North Bergen. The township holds the annual event, which began in 1992, as a way to honor senior citizens and thank them for their contributions to North Bergen. The event includes refreshments, music, dancing, and more.
