Cranes tower above upper Washington Street in Hoboken as construction of apartments continues

HOBOKEN – 1450 Washington St. in Hoboken has been area of bustling construction workers, strident machinery, and most-recently, two soaring cranes.
Just outside The Hudson Reporter’s headquarters, the cranes worked on the complex, which will include three roof decks and an outdoor pool.
Toll Brothers, the company building the luxury apartments, boasts that they will have “smart layouts, modern finishes, exceptional amenities, and easy access to Manhattan” on their website.
Toll Brothers Vice President Henry Waller said in December 2014 that the building is scheduled to be completed in two years.
