Payne to participate in workshop on unsafe oil trains

JERSEY CITY — On Monday, Sept. 14, Congressman Donald M. Payne, Jr. will participate in a community workshop on unsafe oil trains in Jersey City, where he will discuss his legislation to strengthen the safety standards for DOT-111 tank cars that transport flammable liquids.
The event will take place at 5 p.m. at the Greenville Library Auditorium, 1841 John F. Kennedy Blvd. in Jersey City.
