HOBOKEN — Members of the public are invited to share in Hoboken’s 14th annual Sept. 11 Interfaith Memorial Service at Pier A Park at 6 p.m. in honor of the victims of the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City in 2001.
Hoboken lost 57 residents – the most of any one zip code in the U.S.
However, the city has not yet created a permanent memorial to the victims. Still, the service will take place on the southeast corner of the park. Mayor Dawn Zimmer will attend, as well as members of the clergy, Hoboken Police Department, and the Fire Department.
