Funeral services have been held for Clara (D’Elia) Syracuse, 94, a lifelong Hoboken resident. She passed away Aug. 27 at home. A devoted housewife and mother, Clara was a parishioner of St. Francis Church in Hoboken where her funeral mass was offered.
She was predeceased by her husband, Michael Syracuse, in 1991. Surviving are three sons; a granddaughter Liana; two great grandchildren, Josh and Julia; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Syracuse’s son, Philip was very much a part of her life.
