PITTNER, LOUIS

90, a lifelong resident of Bayonne died August 28, 2015. He was the proprietor of Louis Auto Repairs. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He received the European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, the Good Conduct Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal. He was a very active member of the community receiving many titles and honors. He was the husband of the late Mary Pittner (nee: Lamendola) for 47 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Louis and Katherine Pittner (nee: Frank); brother John, sister-in-law Bertha; brothers-in-law Salvatore Lamendola; and Angelo Bassillo. He is survived by his sisters-in-law Jennie Bassillo and Tina Lamendola; nephews Angelo Bassillo,Jr. and his spouse, Anita; Richard, Dennis and John Pittner; niece Barbara DiMarco and her husband, Joseph; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
