HOBOKEN—A new video circulating through social media supposedly shows two men knocking each other out with one punch in Hoboken this past weekend.
The footage shows two young men, one shirtless and one wearing a plaid shirt, surrounded by a crowd of onlookers and preparing to spar. In a moment both disturbing and arguably perfect, they throw simultaneous knockout punches and fall to the curb unconscious, ending the fight as soon as it began.
The original poster of the video on Instagram stated in comments that the fight took place outside of a Hoboken bar on Saturday night, and that both men “got up eventually and walked it off.”
A representative of the Hoboken Police Department told Patch that he had seen the video but could not confirm that it was authentic or had taken place in Hoboken.
“Either it wasn’t reported at all, or by the time the cops got there… who knows,” the representative told Patch.
