Lights out earlier at JFK Stadium

Dear Editor:
Neighbors of JFK stadium are asking the Hoboken Board of Education to amend their current JFK Stadium usage policy to end events at 10 p.m. rather than the current policy of 11 p.m. The neighborhood has grown and changed in the last decade and there are many people with families that would like the lights and noise to end earlier.
Changing this policy will not preclude groups like Zog from utilizing the field, but it will require they end earlier. A policy of lights out at 10 p.m. would also be consistent with other city run parks such as Elysian and Church Square and the county tennis courts adjacent to JFK Stadium. Please help strike a better balance with your neighbors.
Thank You.
