The Weehawken Historical Commission and The Alexander Hamilton Awareness Society are co-sponsoring a talk by Yale history professor and Hamilton scholar Dr. Joanne Freeman as part of Celebrate Hamilton, a series of New York metro area events which take place yearly around the date of the Burr-Hamilton duel. The title of the talk is “Not Throwing Away Any Shots: Understanding the Burr-Hamilton Duel.”
It will be held at 2-50th Street (The Elks Club) in Weehawken at 7:30 pm on July 11. The event is free to the public.
